General Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton 's house in Bommuru.
General Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton was born on 15 May 1803, the tenth son of Henry Calvely Cotton, and one of eleven brothers. In 1818, aged 15, he became a cadet at the East India Company.At the end of 1819 he was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Madras Engineer Group.
